Popular Wars is an io style game, but instead of absorbing elements to help you grow, you have to absorb people to increase your number of followers. Whoever gets the most followers in two minutes wins the game.
The controls pad in Popular Wars is identical to all the other games in the genre. You'll have some sort of virtual control stick that'll help you move your character across the setting and capture (or absorb) the people around. You have to be quick though because the rest of the players have to do the exact same thing.
During the different rounds, you can earn more coins and use them to unlock new elements. These new elements can help you customize your character by choosing between different outfits, faces, and social circles.
Popular Wars is an excellent io that introduces a unique concept, a really accurate controls pad, and awesome visuals. This game is ideal if you want to play online rounds that last no more than 2 minutes.
